The 2018 GMC Yukon Denali has been renovated with improvements in style and detail. These enhancements allow the builder to advance the heritage of the nameplate, which has been on the market for almost 20 years.
For the 2018 model year, GMC provides 2018 GMC Yukon Denali with a full external update, but according to the newly released images, the GMC Yukon Denali will retain its understated design that will be more sensitive to appreciate. From the front, the new Denali will feature a sculpted grille that will allow increased airflow to the radiator. In addition, active aerodynamic blinds behind the grille close when they detect certain road conditions, reducing aerodynamic drag and improving efficiency.
We do not have a picture of the interior, but GMC says the new 2018 GMC Yukon Denali will come with a new optional real wood ornament. You will also have the choice between the standard cabin size and the very spacious XL size. The XL size adds about 14 inches to the wheelbase, giving a total of 20 inches. GMC has not released any other internal details, but we expect more progress and updates from the high-tech side.
In terms of powertrain, the new model will feature the same 6.2 liter V8 engine that will produce 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. GMC also decided to maintain the bottle deactivation system to improve its efficiency. The 10 speed automatic is the only new GM developed in collaboration with Ford. Before heading to the new 2018 GMC Yukon Denali , you can find the new 10 speed in other full size GM SUV, as well as in the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. The 10 speed car will further enhance Yukon’s Denali efficiency with a higher transmission ratio, which in turn allows for a lower higher transmission ratio. There are also specific adjustments that would result in greater fluidity and shorter response times.
The 2018 GMC Yukon Denali will go on sale this fall. The price has not been announced yet.
